Akash Narayan (born 2002) is an Indian entrepreneur, political strategist, published researcher, and filmmaker based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He serves as the founder and Executive Managing Director of Legalit, where he leads the development of an AI-powered legal operating system for practice management.

In 2021, while trading on peer-to-peer (P2P) cryptocurrency marketplace Paxful, Narayan detected structural vulnerabilities exploited by an international money mule syndicate to victimize users.
Proactively collaborating with Indian state cybercrime investigation cells, he provided forensic data analysis and technical intelligence that helped law enforcement map money mule operational flows, ultimately tracing the primary scam ring to Nigeria.
Paxful subsequently wound down P2P operations in April 2023 following regulatory and security pressures, with a $4M penalty assessed by US authorities for fraud control failures. Narayan's work stands as an early documented instance of a peer-to-peer trader collaborating directly with state cyber cells to dismantle international digital fraud networks.
